Trampoline Safety Guide
What Do I Need to Know Before I Use My Trampoline?
Before using your trampoline, clear the surrounding area of any objects or debris. Ensure there is at least 1.5 meters of free space around the outside of the trampoline. This extra space allows for safe entry and exit, as well as for potential stumbles and falls during dismount. Additionally, keep the area beneath the trampoline free of objects, and remember that no one should be underneath the trampoline while it’s in use.
How Do I Make Sure My Trampoline Remains Safe?
To reduce the risk of injury, we recommend inspecting your trampoline every four weeks for signs of wear and tear. Review the following questions carefully. If you answer "yes" to any, refrain from using the trampoline until you’ve received appropriate guidance.
- 📌 Has the frame become twisted, warped, or unsteady?
- 📌 Do you notice any holes or rips in the safety net, roof, tents, or mats?
- 📌 Are the mats and safety padding properly positioned and securely fastened?
- 📌 Do the springs show any sign of damage, weakness, or wear?
- 📌 Are the fabric and stitching worn, frayed, or at risk of deterioration?
How Do I Ensure Everyone Stays Safe When Using My Trampoline?
Inspect your trampoline for wear and tear before every use, ensuring the safety padding is secure and correctly positioned. If you spot any damage, stop using the trampoline immediately until the issue is resolved. Additionally, keep these general safety rules in mind:
- 💡 Avoid bouncing on the trampoline immediately after eating.
- 💡 Allow only one person to use the trampoline at a time to avoid collisions and injury.
- 💡 Ensure the zip is fully closed, and the safety latch is securely in place during each session.
- 💡 Children and new users should always be supervised.
- 💡 To maintain the integrity of the safety net, refrain from leaning on it or deliberately jumping into it. More info: Clean & Maintenence Guide.
